I was born in Lincoln, NE in the early 80s but grew up in Columbus, NE. I am married with 3 children ages 13, 3 and 6 months and currently live in Omaha, NE. Both my wife and I are healthcare professionals and share some of the same goals when it comes to traveling.
After graduating from Columbus Lakeview High School I went to Morningside College for 1 year before moving back to Lincoln, NE were I obtained an Associates Degree in Respiratory Care at Southeast Community College.
While I still work as a Respiratory Care Practitioner I still want to finish my Bachelor’s degree in an attempt to go to Perfusion school at UNMC in Omaha. This semester marks my second to last semester as I am currently planning on graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies next December.
To have caught the travel bug at an early age was one of the best things that ever happened to me. I have gotten to see a great deal of the US outside of the North-Eastern States. I have spent a lot of time in the Western states (Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and California) and the South-Eastern states (Georgia, the Carolinas, Florida). As far as outside of America I have traveled to Tokyo, Japan, Seoul, South Korea and my favorite of all Vietnam.
Because it fulfills my electives for my degree and because I love to travel, I thought it would be beneficial to learn more about planning a trip outside of the US knowing how challenging it can be.
